Fireworks flying
under the radar.
Silver feather-
explosions of wing
twist in and out
of sight as they swing
left and right
deflecting sunlight.
Their clouds flash
on a watery mirror
and bounce off
each other’s reflections
until they drop
in a downpour
of spilling shadows
pecking the shore.
